RAWALPINDI, Despite heavy rain, Independence Day was celebrated with traditional zeal and fervor on Wednesday in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, Taxila, Attock and Murree.
Different organisations held cultural events besides hoisting flags at their premises.
