Floods continue to wreak havoc in Punjab
LAHORE: High floods have been recorded at Punjnad in river Chenab and at Sadhnai in Ravi, while at Punjnad Jagir Sadiqabad water swept away multiple villages and vast acres of standing crops after breaching the bund. The meteorological department has forecast a high flood to hit Guddu. Meanwhile the irrigation department adds, that the Jagir Sadiqabad bund was breached owing to a high tide in river Chenab at Head Punjnad in Uch Sharif inundating multiple villages and washing away standing crops
