Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh, Shahid Nadeem Baloch, has asked the police to ensure strict security for Independence Day.
The provincial police chief said security should be beefed up in Karachi and other cities and towns of the Sindh province on August 14. He said the police should ensure fool-proof security for Independence Day programmes at the Mazar-e-Quaid, educational institutions and public places so that no untoward incident takes place.
