MINGORA, Forty new dengue cases were reported in Swat district on Friday taking the number of the local residents suffering from the mosquito-borne disease to 85.
According to local health official Ijaz Khan, the dengue incidence could be higher than what has been reported as some people were conducting their tests at private clinics.
He said over 50 patients were admitted to the Medical-B Ward of Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital, where the administration was short of space.
