In an appreciable move following orders of the Prime Minister’s Office, Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) has suspended the officials involved in the mega scam of misuse of vehicles, fuel theft and misappropriation of funds and a high level committee has been constituted.
Former ministers for water and power Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Syed Naveed Qamar, former federal secretaries and top officials of the ministry used vehicles of Iesco, fake petrol and maintenance bills
