JAMAAT-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer Syed Munawar Hasan and JI Secretary General Liaquat Baloch have condemned the fresh raise in the electricity tariff and said this was the worst ‘drone attack’ by the PML-N government on the masses since its takeover.
In a joint statement, they warned that the sharp rise in prices resulting from this raise would cause a fresh flood of price hike which could even throw the rulers out of power. Calling for the withdrawal of the fresh raise in power
