Punjab to strengthen security on the check posts along the Indus River

LAHORE: The Punjab government has decided to further strengthen and beef up security on the check posts along the 135-kilometre-long river belt that separates it from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. These measures have been taken in view of the jailbreak in Dera Ismail Khan and reports of miscreants entering the province.
According to details, the provincial government has decided to immediately strengthen the checkposts between Isakhel and Dera Ghazi Khan to check for the entry of militants from KP
