LAHORE: Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batsman Umar Akmal upon his return to the country announced that he was fit to play despite reports stating otherwise.
Akmal told reporters that he would be meeting the acting Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi and all facts would be revealed soon. “I have brought my medical reports and will show them to the chairman. I will hold a press conference and clear the situation.”
The PCB has pulled the 23 year old batsman from the squad set
