Annual budget of Anjuman Faizul Islam approved

Rawalpindi:President of Anjuman Faiz-ul-Islam Mian Muhammad Siddique Akbar said that the Anjuman is a welfare organisation which has been imparting education and shelter to destitute and orphans since 1943.

At present six welfare organisations including vocational and educational institutes are being run by the Anjuman where more than 1,050 children are getting education.

He made these remarks while addressing annual budget session of the General Council of the Anjuman. Senior Vice President, Professor Dr. Riaz Ahmed, Vice President, Dr. M.D. Khan, Raja Abdul Razzaq and Joint Secretary, Raja Basharat Ahmed Kiani were also present.

General Secretary Raja Fateh Khan presented report of last year’s meeting and threw light on overall performance of the Anjuman.

He informed that concerted efforts were made to improve performance of educational, religious and vocational institutes, mosques, dispensaries and libraries being run under the Anjuman.
