Karachi:Dr Mehboob Ali Shaikh was appointed as the first registrar of the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University, Lyari, for a three years on Wednesday. Dr Shaikh holds a PhD in Biology with 42 years’ experience in teaching. He is a former additional secretary of the education department, chairman of the Board of Secondary and Intermediate Sukkur, Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen and Bureau of Curriculum, Jamshoro.
