LAHORE: Final thesis exhibition of first year students of the Beaconhouse National University School of Architecture (BNUSA) kicked off at Nairang Gallery on Tuesday.
Renowned artist Nayyar Ali Dada curated the exhibition whereas eminent intellectual, Dr Mubashir Hasan, inaugurated the event. The exhibition displayed works of 35 students. While talking to Daily Times, BNU External Relations Director, Zaeem Yaqoob, said that the emergent respectability of architectural education in Pakistan heralds the possibilities of new architecture-related developments beyond the normal practices. BNUSA aims to capture this enthusiasm in pursuit of a mission-oriented education that can improve the quality of life in an affordable and sustainable manner without compromising the ideals of professional education, he added.Daily Times.
BNUSA Dean Professor S Gulzar Haider, who is also the former director of School of Architecture, Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada, a large number of artists, students and visitors would also be present on the occasion. The exhibition would remain open for general public till July 18.Daily Times.
