LAHORE: Professor Dr Sabiha Mansoor took charge as the new vice chancellor (VC) of the Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) on Thursday.
Dr Sabiha was accorded a warm welcome at the campus by the acting VC Professor Dr Farhat Saleemi and other staff members of the varsity.
Professor Sabiha has a PhD in Education and a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the Reading University, UK, as well as a Master’s degree in English Literature from the Punjab University. She has been a Woodrow Wilson Pakistan Scholar as well as a scholar for the British Council.
Dr Sabiha has a wide experience of teaching English and has helped set up various postgraduate programmes at the Beaconhouse National University, Agha Khan University and Kinnaird College.Daily Times.
