Lahore University and UCP “Make the Right Real” Campaign

Lahore: 27 July: VIS Program of UCP joins hands with MILESTONE for their “Make the Right Real” campaign. This campaign includes 3 events in three different places. These events include lectures and experience sharing by Japanese delegation at Lahore University and UCP. There will also be an event in Al-Hamrah with celebrity presence. More than a hundred volunteers from UCP will be running the events throughout the campaign.
M. H. Rehman (Manager VIS) has had a few meetings with MILESTONE in this regard and both organizations are joining their heads together to manage this event at the best level. 20 volunteers have already been placed in MILESTONE and more than a hundred volunteers have been placed till Monday 25th July. A team from MILESTONE will also run an accessibility test in UCP auditorium on Tuesday 26th July.
VIS: Joining Hands with SIHS
VIS Program of UCP is in the process of reaching a partnership with Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences. Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences is heading Shalamar Hospital, Shalamar Medical and Dental College and Shalamar Nursing College. SIHS is under patronage of Businessmen Trust.
In a meeting with Mr. Zafar Mehmood (GM Marketing) and Tania Mansoor (GM Human Resource), Mr. Zafar Mehmood told Mr. Rehman that SIHS is quite eager to join hands with not only UCP’s VIS Program but also in future partnership opportunities like Student Exchange Program to be initiated from their side. SIHS showed great interest in inducting internees from UCP as well.
