Names for new Shah Abdul Latif University VC sent to Ebad

SUKKUR The Search Committee for VC has held interviews of shortlisted candidates for the post of Vice Chancellor for the Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur. The Interview Committee has proposed three names to the Chancellor of the Universities.

The News has learnt that Search committee recommended three names to the chancellor of the Universities, Governor Sindh, after holding interviews on July 24 of 13 candidates including Present Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur Professor Dr: Neilofer Shaikh, Pro Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul latif University Khairpur Professor Dr: Abdullah Phulpoto, Pro Vice Chancellor of Sindh University Parveen Shah, Dean of the Institute of Business Administration of Sindh University Syed Anwar Shah, Ex-Director General Pakistan Central Cotton Committee Barkat Soomro, Retd Professor Dr Abdul Ghani Memon of Shah Abdul latif University, Khairpur, Professor Dr Ghulam Serwar Markhand of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, Professor Dr Miandad Zardari of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, Professor Dr: Maqbool Shah of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur, Professor Dr Muhammed Nawaz Chand and Syed Mehmood Shah.

Sources said that many of these candidates are optimistic of getting the post of VC of the Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur. Sources said that the Search Committee after the interview had proposed three candidates, including present Vice Chancellor Dr: Neilofer Shaikh, present PVC Dr Abdullah Phulpoto and Parveen Shah PVC of Sindh University, Jamshoro, to Chancellor of the Universities for approval of one from them.

Sources said that the aspirants when shortlisted for interview by the search committee of the governor, had along with their political supporters and references had contacted the Governor House.The news.
