ISLAMABAD, July 11 (APP): National Assembly Standing Committee here Monday highly appreciated the outstanding performance of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) girls college F-8/2 in Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) examination.
The OPF girls College F8/2 Islamabad has shown an outstanding performance in FBISE Examinations by producing not only 100% result in Matriculation but also securing 05 position in the list of top 30 students of FBISE.The NA body also recommended the increments for the college staff and appreciated the efforts of Principal Shahina Masood.
She said that 114 students of OPF Girls college appeared in the matriculation examination held by FBISE this year, out of which 67 students were able to get A+ Grades, 35 students were placed in A Grade and 11 secured B Grade.
Shahina said according to the merit list of top 30 students, released by FBISE Islamabad 05 students of OPF Girls College secured the following positions;
Marzia Akbar 15th position in FBISE, Sarah Saleem 16th position, Oswah khan 27th,Kanza Arshad 28th and Yusra Khan got 29th position in FBISE Federal Secretary, Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis, K.B. Rind and Managing Director (MD) OPF, Israr Khan Jamali congratulated the talented students and asked them to use their utmost efforts to get education.
Earlier, Principal Shahina Masood expressed her pleasure and said she is very proud of her students and teachers.
They have surely put in their best efforts and that she is confident that next year her students will be able to clinch top positions.
She also congratulated the position holder students, their parents and teachers.
