Karachi:July Noted scholar Professor Aftab Kazi Ph.D in Political Science and International Relations from Pittsburgh University USA, has join at HEC foreign Professor at International Relations Department University of Sindh on Wednesday.
Dr. Kazi who had been serving at School of Advanced International Studies in USA has been aiming to serve with all experiences in the University of Sindh to produce top level Ph.D scholars in the International Studies. The International Relations department University of Sindh has been offering specialization courses in final year students and is going to start specialization in Central Asia and Central Eurasian Studies after joining of Dr. Kazi.
Prof. Kazi has also plan to setup Center of Excellence in Central Asia Caucus in the University to offer M.Phil and Ph.D in post soviet studies and has developed a project for submission to the University authorities in future. In first instance Dr.Kazi is going to offer teaching at graduate level and will teach subject of Central Asia and Central Eurasian studies. Dr. Kazi after joining in the University has also developed a proposal to setup Shaheed Benazir Bhutto forum on International Affairs to organize series of lectures, national and International seminars and Conferences on Central Asia studies with combination of other concerned departments of the University.
Dr. Kazi a scholars of International Repute will be helpful to scholars and students of the department of International Relations of the University.
