Rawalpindi:The students of Bachelors of Computer Arts (BCA) at Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) presented their ‘Thesis Display 2011’ showcasing diverse creative work.
FJWU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Samina Amin Qadir inaugurating the exhibition termed the efforts of the students remarkable and appreciated in-charge of BCA Department Fareena Iqbal and faculty members.
The exhibition featured art objects in the categories of photography, computer graphics, oil paintings, visual arts, calligraphy, textile, video installation with performance, documentary production, desktop publishing and printing, campaign development and graphic designing providing an opportunity to the young and aspiring artists to exhibit their talent through displaying their creative endeavours.
Oil paintings, visual arts, textile, cushions, tablecloth, napkins, tissue boxes, bed sheets, rugs, wall hangings, shawls, dresses, shoes and mobile phone covers etc. were displayed. In computer graphic students created their portraits and in animations cartoons documentaries were shown.
Javaid Qazi, Rahat Saeed, Lubna Yasmeen, Mehr Bano and Ambreen Afzal were the jury members.The news.
