KARACHI: A lot of attention is being paid towards the promotion of research activities at the Jinnah University for Women (JUW).
The Dean Research at JUW Dr Shazia Tabassum Hakim stated this here on Tuesday.
She was talking to APP after the first meeting of the Institutional Ethical Review Board (IERB) of the JUW.
Dr Hakim, who is also the chairperson of the Department of Microbiology, informed that a total of 11 synopses for the MS Research were discussed at the meeting and eight of them were approved. She said that some more details have been sought regarding the remaining three which would be discussed at the next meeting of the IERB. Dr Hakim praised the quality of the synopsis that have been submitted and added that research work has been speeded up at the JUW. app.
