LAHORE, The Lahore High Court chief justice on Thursday remarked the parliament unanimously inserted Article 25-A in the Constitution for the provision of free education and funds shortage could not be taken as an excuse for its non-implementation.
CJ Sheikh Azmat Saeed was hearing a petition seeking a uniform education policy and enforcement of constitutional provision for free education to all, which had been made mandatory through 18th Amendment.
