Open-schooling system
ISLAMABAD, To achieve millennium goals in education sector and ensure universal education by the year 2015, Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has decided to launch open-schooling system in Pakistan.
The project worth Rs18.4 million will be initiated in collaboration with Commonwealth of Learning (COL), a UK institution, which decided to set up its branch in Pakistan by June this year.
Vice-Chancellor AIOU Prof Dr Nazir Ahmed Sangi said this after a presentation
