The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has launched yet another school enrolment campaign with the help of Britain and the US. Launched on April 2, the campaign aims to enrol 1.3 million children in schools with special focus on girls.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the former North West Frontier Province, passed the NWFP Compulsory Primary Education Act in 1996.
