A large number of schoolteachers and students blocked Ferozpur Road on Saturday in protest against lawyers who allegedly beat two teachers.
The demo was organised by the Punjab Teachers Union (PTU) near Lahore General Hospital (LGH), Ferozpur Road, which later turned into a rally and the demonstrators marched to Cantt Katchery. The protesters also condemned police for not registering an FIR of the incident in which some lawyers had allegedly thrashed schoolteachers Ijaz
