KEMU Medical teachers’ body poll annulled

LAHORE - Declaring the King Edward Medical University (KEMU) Medical Teachers Association elections held in his absence as null and void, Vice Chancellor Prof Assad Aslam has announced a fresh ballot on July 31.

Some faculty members elected the association office-bearers ‘unopposed’ without any official notification and formal approval of its head as Prof Aslam was abroad. Prof Mumtaz Ahmad will head a three-member election commission that also comprises Prof Imtiaz Asghar Bajwa
