Malala attack proves Pakistani Taliban still a formidable force

Islamabad

 

Pakistani Taliban accepting responsibility of attacking National Peace Award winner and young Pakistani rights activist Malala Yousufzai, is a striking example of how this militant group is able to reach out where and when it wants to strike. Conflict, displacement, floods and continuing military operations leave a very small window for Pakistan to move ahead in any part of the country. Taliban insurgency is far from over in Swat.
