LAHORE: ‘Toba Tek Singh’, a play based on the pain migrants went through at the time of partition in 1947, was staged at Alhamra on Thursday.
Ajoka Theatre held the event in collaboration with Lahore Arts Council.
Written by Saadat Hasan Manto and directed by Madiha Gauhar, the play was based on the story written three years after the partition when governments of Pakistan and India decided to exchange Muslims, Sikhs and Hindus.
