Punjab govt to spend Rs 5 billion on 2000 schools

Punjab govt has decided to spend Rs 5 billion on 200 schools in order to uplift academic standard. Punjab Education Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman has said that education is the top priority of the provincial government, and Education Department is strictly following the rules to recruit the employees. The government has recruited 70,000 teachers purely on merit in a transparent manner, he added.
