LAHORE
The Lahore High Court on Thursday issued an appreciation letter to judges of district judiciary for good results in disposal of pending cases amid an unimpressive strike by lawyers against a deadline for disposal of pending cases fixed by National Judicial Policy Making Committee (NJMPC).
The committee had directed the district judiciary to decide all old cases by Dec 31 and bar councils and associations expressed serious reservations about it terming
