Thanks to DUHS, 14 children to get bionic ears

Two children have become the first Pakistanis to receive cochlear implants (CI), electronic hearing devices that are often called bionic ears.

 

The surgeries were performed by a team of ENT (ear, nose & throat) surgeons, led by the pro-vice-chancellor (PVC) of the Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), at the varsity’s Ojha campus on Thursday.
