Khana Farhang Iran (Iranian Cultural Centre), in collaboration with the Rawalpindi Arts Council, organised calligraphic and painting competitions with the title of ‘Ashura-e-Saqafat’ here on Monday.
The competitors painted the incident of Karbala through their feelings. Muhammad Akbari, director general of the Khana Farhang Iran, and Waqar Ahmed, resident director of the RAC, distributed cash prizes among the position-holders.
