Make healthcare facilities ‘arms-free zones’: Pakistan Islamic Medical Association’s

The government has been urged to declare all healthcare facilities, including clinics and hospitals, as “arms-free zones”.

 

In a joint statement issued on Tuesday, Pakistan Islamic Medical Association’s (PIMA) Central President Dr Misbahul Aziz and Sindh President Dr Abdul Aziz Memon demanded “foolproof security arrangements for professionals associated with one of the noblest professions meant to serve ailing humanity”.
