All government teachers recruited on merit in govt’s five-year tenure

During the five-year tenure of the government, all teachers were appointed on merit and none on recommendation, said the Sindh education & literacy minister on Monday.

 

Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq said that around 1,100 ghost schools had been closed, while 1,400 schools had been opened after recruiting 14,000 teachers on merit, and the candidates who had passed the National Testing Service’s tests would be appointed soon.
