The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has been assured by the authorities concerned in Pakistan that the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the Karachi Circular Railway (KCR) would be conducted by June this year as per the international requirements.
This was stated by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Muhammad Hussain Syed during a meeting with JICA Director-General Naka Hara at the agency’s main offices in Tokyo, Japan,
