There is no let-up in the deaths caused by measles in the country, as 15 more children have died of the highly contagious viral disease.
According to World Health Organisation, the number of this year’s measles-related deaths, which was 154 by February 2, has surged to 169 within a week by February 9.
Of these deaths, the most (96) were reported in Sindh followed by 42 in Balochistan, 15 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 14 in Punjab, and one in Islamabad and tribal
