LAHORE – The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has allowed medical universities of the country to have non-medical PhD faculty to supervise medical PhD candidates.
In a letter written to the University of Health Sciences (UHS), the Quality Assurance Department of HEC has clarified that candidates having PhD degree can be appointed as research scientist in medical universities.
