PUNJAB Teachers Union flays training during academic session

LAHORE

 

PUNJAB Teachers Union (PTU) has criticized the start of training of the elementary school teachers (ESTs) during the ongoing academic session, saying it will waste students’ precious time.

 

In a press release issued on Sunday, the PTU office-bearers, including Taj Haider, said precious time of the students was wasted by engaging teachers in non-academic activities such as preparation of voter lists and various immunisation drives.
