World Bank to provide $400m for education in Sindh

The World Bank (WB) announced on Monday it had decided to provide $400 million for the promotion of education in Sindh. Assistance in irrigation and agriculture sectors would also be provided, said WB country director Rachied Benmessaoud.

 

He made the announcement when he called on Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah at the Chief Minister’s House. He was accompanied by a two-member delegation, while Additional Chief Secretary (P&D) Arif Ahmed
