German speech contest held at NUML
Islamabad: A German language speech contest was held at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) here on Tuesday, which was participated by 12 students from diploma and certificate programmes of the German Language Department of the university.
The students delivered speeches on a variety of topics in German Language. The panel of judges comprised of Dr. Thomas Ditt, German cultural counsellor, Islamabad, Frau Ursula Saarbeck, representative DAAD, Islamabad and Julia Prerting,
Research officer, GIZ Islamabad. Usman Ishfaq Ahmed, Aiza Yousuf and Imad Shahsawar were adjudged first, second and third respectively.
