Supreme Court Islamabad Higher Education Commission (HEC) could not enjoy its autonomous status any longer, as its functions have been divided between the two of the four newly-announced federal ministries, which apparently is a sheer violation of the Supreme Court (SC) order according to which HEC should continue working under its present status until the new legislation.
