Lahore ROBBERS on Saturday robbed an assistant professor of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) and his wife, who is the varsity’s IT expert, at gunpoint on Multan Road.
Assistant Prof Dr Imran Javed with his wife was going in his car to UVAS Ravi Campus, Pattoki, when five dacoits intercepted them and snatched gold ornaments, cash and cell phone worth Rs 200,000. The couple has reported the matter to the police concerned.
