President of the Arts Council of Pakistan Muhammad Ahmed Shah has rejected the allegations of corruption in the recent International Urdu Conference, saying he had been organising the event for the last four years, but never was accused of corruption or mismanagement by literary circles.
He said the opponents were trying to misguide members of the Council in order to get their votes in the forthcoming annual elections.
