The Lahore High Court has restrained the Government College University (GCU) vice-chancellor from proceeding with fresh process of appointment of its registrar till decision on an application by a top designate is pending before the chancellor/governor.
Sahibzada Faisal Khurshid, ex-registrar of the university, had challenged the fresh process for the appointment of the registrar. Advocate Ahmad Waheed Khan represented the petitioner and submitted in the court that his client had applied for
