PESHAWAR, Feb 29: In a long overdue meeting, the University of Peshawar’s syndicate on Wednesday appointed and promoted around 200 teachers to BPS-18, 19, 20 and 21.
The appointment/promotion cases of these teachers had been awaiting decision for around 16 months.
The syndicate, the executive body of UoP, had the meeting after a delay of 15 months. Its first meeting occurred after the new Peshawar University Act, 2011, came into force giving it more authority.
