PUNJAB TB Control Programme Director Dr Darakshan Badar has said that on the directions of Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif, prisoners DOTS (Directly Observed Treatment Short Course) linkage programme has been started for the treatment of TB patients in jails and screening of more than 160,000 prisoners have been conducted so far.
Moreover, new prisoners and the prisoners released from the jails are examined for diagnosing tuberculoses so that the other prisoners can be saved from
