LAHORE
Dozens of students from the Punjab University’s Institute of Communication Studies (PUICS) boycotted classes on Monday and protested against the removal of a contract lecturer.
The protesting students, some of them belonging to the Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT), came out on the Canal Road and blocked the road for quite some time. They demanded immediate reinstatement of removed lecturer Khalid Rashid as he was one of their favourite teachers.
