Tahira Wasti passes away familiar name in the realm of TV and theater TV actress Laila Wasti is her daughter

Tahira Wasti, an all-too familiar name in the realm of TV and theatre and a household name in show business, finally ended her earthly tenure on Sunday, leaving behind innumerable fans grieving. She was 68.

Apart from television which was her forte, she was also a short story writer. Just a few of her many TV plays which became hits and touched the zenith of popularity were, Kashkol, Jaangloos, Afshaan, and Akhri Chatan.

She commenced her television career in 1968 with Pakistan
