A year ago, when The Islamabad Music Society (TIMS) organised a programme that featured an introduction to opera arias, it was well received by the audience of members and their guests. In continuation of the series ‘Introduction to Western Classical Music,’ TIMS organised an event that featured ‘Programme Music’ in which certain elements of classical music of the West were presented with recorded music supported by visuals, explanations, live singing and live piano.
