The Higher Education Commission (HEC) sub-committee on education reviewed research journals published in the discipline of education and recommended up-gradation of some of these journals.
In a meeting held at the HEC, the committee reviewed books published by faculty member and researchers of various universities and decided that only original and research-oriented book would be considered equivalent to two research papers in X category of HEC recognised research
