The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has issued separate notices to nine medical and dental colleges countrywide for not owning a hospital.
In response, each educational institution will have to give reasons for its failure to own 150-bed hospital despite the PMDC orders.
Last year, the PMDC had decided that all medical and dental colleges, which didn’t build their own 150-bed hospitals by December 2012, would be stopped from admitting students in the year
