The Punjab Education Department on Wednesday has issued new schedule of summer vacations for all public and private sector schools in the province. According to the amended notification, the schools will close on June 1 and reopen on August 19. Earlier, the Education Department had issued a notification for summer vacations according to which the vacations were starting from June 1 to August 14.
