Prior to the secretary level talks between India and Pakistan to be held on the 29th of this month, the government has announced the release of 315 Indian fishermen who have been behind bars in the Malir and Juvenile jails for years.
The fishermen, most of whom hail from Gujarat, will be freed on Wednesday, and handed over to the Indian authorities at the Wagah border the next day. Ram Kara, one of the fishermen apprehended for crossing into Pakistani waters,
